Dr. Nirali Nanavati has completed her PhD from the Computer Engineering Department at SVNIT, Surat, India and is currently an Associate Professor at SCET, Surat. She has a teaching experience of 15 years and is the Convenor of the Industry Connect Cell at Sarvajanik University and an active member of the R&D Cell at the University . She has received her M.S. degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, NJ, USA. Prior to joining academia, she worked with IBM, France as a Technical Consultant and at Infosys Technologies Ltd. as a Programmer Analyst. She has received numerous awards for the mentored projects and written numerous research papers, book chapters and patents. Her research interests include privacy preservation in data mining and efficient algorithms for machine learning and artificial intelligence.
