Prof. (Dr.) Mita Parikh is a Professor in the Department of Information Technology at Sarvajanik College of Engineering & Technology (SCET), with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and 25 years of academic experience. Her teaching and research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Applications, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Natural Language Processing, Software Engineering, Agile Development, and UX Design. Her research publications cover areas such as automatic text summarization, text classification, opinion mining, sentiment analysis, and customer-review analysis. She has delivered expert lectures and keynote sessions on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, distributed systems, and related technologies. Dr. Parikh has also held significant academic and administrative responsibilities, including Head of the Information Technology Department from 2011 to 2019 and Convener of the Board of Studies for Information Technology Engineering at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
